The classical education  

Joanna Marie is a highly qualified professional, holding Master of Arts Degree, with specialisation in Violin, from the prestigious Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, Poland, with a core of studies in music performance, music history, musicology, and music theory. The Academy is well known for producing musicians capable of succeeding in the highly competitive world of professional music through ensuring the right balance of skills and interests as well as through encouraging a diversity of approaches. In addition to her academic qualifications, Joanna has also attended numerous Music Courses, including in Poland (Lancut, Zagan, Zakopane) and Lanciano (Italy), to mention a few.Her home city of Bielsko Biala honored her with a special foundation scholarship for young artists development in the cross over music field.

Early beginnings

Having played violin since the age of 6, Joanna has developed outstanding technical and artistic skills in the field of musical performance. She has appeared in concert with some of the greatest, namely Berliner Symphonicker in Germany, The Internationale Orchestra Giovanile “Fedele Fenarolli” in Italy, and The Telemann Chamber Orchestra in Poland. In addition to that, Joanna Marie has extensive experience working as a Special Guest Star and the Lead Violinist on the greatest cruise ships in the world, to include Celebrity Cruises "Zenith", "Millenium", Seabourn "The Quest", Princess Cruises "Diamon Princess", "Crown Princess", Holland America "Zuiderdam", "Zaandam", "Oosterdam", and Royal Caribbean’s "Explorer of the Seas", "Radiance of The Seas", "Brilliance of The Seas", "Navigator of the Seas" and "Independence of the Seas" as well as other cruise lines all over the world.  

Special Guest Star on Ice! 

When working for the Royal Caribbean, Joanna appears as a Special Guest Star for the “Strings!” ice show. She has also developed her own Headliner Show specifically tailored to meet the needs and requirements of the audiences in various parts of the world.

Wide variety of music styles 

Joanna Marie is a trained and qualified classical musician, however she also improvises as well as is fully familiar with and has vast experience of playing all different styles of music from all over the world, including, inter alia, pop, rock, Latin, jazz, tango, and Irish music. She has an ability to interpret written and improvised musical parts as a soloist. On top of that, she also has a background in acting and ballet, elements of which she incorporates into her shows, making them much more interesting. Joanna’s shows are all about having fun and keeping her audience entertained.

About her show  

Being very passionate about music, she really cares what her audience thinks; therefore she always puts her heart and soul into her performances. There is something for everyone in Joanna's shows, she has incorporated, rock, pop and some classical twists into her performances. Joanna's shows have been recently described as “out of the box”, “fun", "exciting", "quirky", "impressive" and “totally unexpected”.  
Travelling is Joanna’s passion. She speaks English, Italian, Spanish,German, Polish and Japanese and has worked extensively with multi-national bands and performing for multi-national and multi-cultural audiences in all those languages.
